Leather straps secure a rainproof rolling tubular flap. When rolled it functions as a daily use laptop backpack. Flap can also be extended for larger loads/ travel and secures with a secondary leather strap system. To make this possible the same straps attach to a different set of post studs so that it can fasten in a different location. This offers protection against rain even when extended.

Straps secure with our custom ball and post stud/ leather strap system. We’ve enlarged the traditional ball and post stud used on military and utility packs and we’ve used a thicker leather than normally used. As a result we have the best strap fastening system you’ll find out there. Strong enough to withstand years of pulling and fastening without losing its grip. We’ve used the same system for over 14 years now so we know it works.

Features a side loading vislon zipped laptop pocket for up to 16inch laptops. A floating laptop pocket so it doubles as a trainer/ camera compartment. Also has an internal secure zip pocket in the main compartment.

Angle mobile shoulder strap design for comfort and strength. We use D-rings to secure our straps. This means they are able to pivot their angle. This in turn means they always lie flat on your shoulders, no matter your shoulder width. Again, a tried and tested system we’ve used for over 14 years. Whether you are cycling to work, or going on an 8 hour hike, this strap system moves with you and stays comfortable in a way that fixed straps do not.

Triple layer waterproof HD210D main body. HD210D is a custom Stighlorgan formula nylon made to our exacting specifications and colour in Japan. We use our mill in Japan as they achieve the density required to make this nylon naturally water repellant. Finished with our extra thick full grain leather strap system.

Lined with waterproof 900D for a second layer of waterproofing. To match the flight jacket style HD210D exterior fabric, the laptop pocket lining is flame orange.

Black reflective 3M shoulder strap triangles. Located at the base of the shoulder straps for a reflective detail that will appear when crossing the road or turning onto a road by bike.

Micah is Stighlorgan’s take on the perfect performance bomber jacket. We opted for a voluminous Helter Skelter style silhouette with generous torso and arms tunnels.  Taking this style of bomber to a level of performance that will see you through the winter, we’ve used extra heavy duty CoreD7 poly canvas for the main shell. Micah has the classic chunky cotton ribbed collar but we decided to finish the cuffs with buttons instead of rib for a different less puffy, more angular cuff effect. The sleeves are in a raglan format so extend from the neck seam, across the shoulder and down to the cuffs. The raglan sleeve allows for that recognisable large scale fit on the shoulders and chest. Lining is a contrast ecru colour and we concealed the inner pocket with a turned and stitched mini zip that sits between the inner zip facing and lining panels. The chunky Derlin zip has 2 zip runners so that the jacket can unzip upwards, ideal for use on a bike, and features our trademark zip tape pull.

Atticus is our core autumn winter jacket. Based on a large voluminous military parka silhouette, Atticus is designed to be your ultimate shield against the elements. In contrast with comfortable voluminous silhouette this coat has, we found opportunities to finished cuffs, hood and hem for a closer fitting finish at these taper points. The hood has 2 paracord adjustment arcs, secured with 4 enamelled zinc alloy cord locks. These allow the hood to be cinched in, not just along the brim edge, but also back across the head allowing for better visibility on the sides of the hood. We have used button cuffs so that the cuffs can be cinched down to a closer wrist fit, contrasting with the large voluminous arms and preventing sleeve drag/ bulk. Finally the waist and swallowtail hem have paracord adjusters, both allowing the fit to be tailored to requirement. The chunky Derlin zip has 2 zip runners so that the jacket can unzip upwards, ideal for use on a bike. There is a storm flap secured with buttons and a Velcro secured throat wrap. Atticus is finished with extra deep flap protected pockets and an internal small items pocket.

Isaac hoodie was designed to push the potential of the classic hoodie silhouette. We started with a large roomy hoodie block. We used heavy-duty Core D7 poly canvas for the exterior. We added a Merino wool lining to add breathable warmth. Cuffs and hem made from a chunky cotton rib and finally hood adjusters made from military-grade paracord. The end result is a comfortable large fit hoodie that will take you through the winter, dry and warm.
